Isaiah 56
Isaiah 56:10-12
"His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, and loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant"

This passage clearly describes the false teachers and pastors of the modern day church, but how can we know which people are false teachers and pastors? Two keys verses in this passage that give us the clearest signs of false teachers and pastors are "they are greedy dogs which can never have enough... they all look to their own way, every one for his gain" and "tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant".

The first sign we see is that these false teachers/pastors who have amassed wealth in the hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars always want more of our money in the form of “sowing seed” to THEIR ministry. If not then why do they continue to charge people for their "meetings, CDs, books, music, or their Words from God" after they clearly have enough money for a hundred lifetimes? It is because they are greedy dogs who always want more and they can never get enough!! We must understand that it is NOT our money that they are stealing but the money that they are stealing is the money that GOD has entrusted to us (stewardship) so when we foolishly give to false teachers we will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment!

Secondly, false teachers always at the end of their messages say "Send me your money and then God will send you a blessing (aka tomorrow)"... Do they ever ask you send your money to another ministry? NO... Do they ever ask you to look around your church or neighborhood and help people in need? NO... They always say SEND ME your money (under the guise of sowing "seed") and that if you do then your blessing is on the way (aka tomorrow)... So why would people continue to send multi-millionaires God’s money? It is because THEY WANT WHAT THE WOLVES HAVE and that is IDOLATRY!

Saints, has the MIGHTY CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST been reduced to the obtainment of money and things? The church is so full of hoarders and people who are blowing GODS money on “stuff” when they could be using that money to help others in need or they could be using that money for the advancement of the God’s kingdom. One famous false teacher actually had the gall to adorn their house with tens of thousands of dollars of “collectible pottery” and when they were asked for help they turned a blind eye to their need (I personally know person who asked her for a measly $3000 to fix their vehicle so they could get back to work). Saints these false teachers are EVERYWHERE and IN EVERY CHURCH and apparently there are no Pastors who have the guts to call them out...

If this prosperity gospel is SO of God then why didn’t Peter, Paul, or any other Apostle live this way? The even more prevalent question is why didn’t Jesus teach this way of living? It is time that real believers quit saying that this is or that not their "problem" and start calling out these liars. Why? Because there are people (your friends and loved ones) following these liars who will share in their condemnation if they do not repent and you will be asked on the Day of Judgment why YOU didn't warn them because their blood will be on YOUR hands (Ezekiel 33:1-9,11).

Choose you this day who you will serve?

God or Mammon…
