Let Us Pick Our Kingdom Today


“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath DELIVERED us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son”
Colossians 1:12-13

It is sad that people who claim to know Jesus also have to claim being part of a “country” in order to be “part” of something. I guess being part of the Kingdom of God is not enough for them, but as for me I claim NO COUNTRY in this world as my home. I may live in America, but I am no longer part of America for I am no longer part of this world just as Jesus said in John 17:14-16 “…for they are NOT of the world any more than I am of the world. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are NOT of the world, even as I am not of it”. Did you notice that he said twice that his people were NOT of this world? Do you think he was trying to make a point? People who go to Americanized buildings for “church” try to make sure everyone loves them but the WORD says we will be HATED BY ALL, which includes our families but only IF we walking as we should. Jesus said “If you belonged to the world it would love you as its OWN. As it is, you do not belong to the world but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world HATES you” (John 15:19) . So does the world around you love you or hate you? If they hate you then you are walking as you should, but if they love you then…

People of the world will talk about the world and they will also stand up for people of the world (actors, politicians, and other prominent world figures),  but Jesus said that people OF the world are the ones who will speak OF the world. “They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world and the world hears them” 1 John 4:5. So if that is the case then people who are NOT of the world should not be talking or supporting people who are OF the world.

Are we really living in the Kingdom of God or are we REALLY walking with one foot in the Kingdom of God and the other in the Kingdom of satan?

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth ENTANGLES himself with the affairs of this life that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier”
2 Timothy 2:3-4

“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world”
