Living Fruit or Corrupted Fruit... Which One Are We?

I am not writing this so that we can be fruit inspectors of others, but so that we can fruit inspectors of ourselves. Yes the Word of God says we shall know them by their fruits, but that does not mean we go out looking for people to pick apart. I want everyone to understand that most of the time when I write I am not writing to any particular person or group because most of the time I am writing about what God has shown Dan about DAN! I use third party examples only as examples to explain certain points and nothing more is intended and no actual person or group was used in this writing… Living Fruit or Corrupted Fruit, Which Type Of Fruit Do We Have In Us? 2 Corinthians 13:5 “ Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves” Matthew 7:16-20 “You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot brin

Supporting Evil?

Supporting Evil? Trump: I did not pay that woman (Stormy Daniels) off… Trump: Stormy Daniels is a liar… Remember those comments? Even though Trump and Cohen have admitted to paying her off (after lying about it for months) evangelical “christians” are still backing this constantly lying man (not to mention all the vile things he has said and done in the past and since taking office)... If you actually research Trump’s pre-election speeches and his rhetoric since he has been in office you will see that Donald Trump LIES ALL THE TIME… Today’s Update… Today his ex-attorney (Michael Cohen) released tapes that he recorded between Trump and himself talking about paying off Karen McDougal (who he had an affair with while married to Melania). While this does not prove that he paid off Stormy Daniels it does show that Donald Trump is willing to pay off anyone to keep their mouths shut about him. Is Trump a pathological liar? If so what should the stance of a real Child of Go

Isaiah 56

Isaiah 56 Isaiah 56:10-12 "His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, and loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant" This passage clearly describes the false teachers and pastors of the modern day church, but how can we know which people are false teachers and pastors? Two keys verses in this passage that give us the clearest signs of false teachers and pastors are "they are greedy dogs which can never have enough... they all look to their own way, every one for his gain" and "tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant". The first sign we see is that these false teachers/past

The Church At Smyrna

To the Church at Smyrna History The name Smyrna means “myrrh or death”. Myrrh is a resin, which was extracted from trees in Africa, India, and Arabia and used as an incense like frankincense, and in ancient times myrrh was so valuable that it was worth as much as gold. Myrrh was also used in the purification of women (Esther 2:12), as a perfume (Psalm 45:8), as a gift for Jesus when he was born (Matthew 2:11), and they mixed it with wine that they offered to Jesus on the Cross (Mark 15:23). Myrrh was also commonly used in burial because it could dry up moisture thus preventing the growth of worms. As an embalming spice, myrrh released its odor when crushed so the crushing of the Saints at Smyrna in the name of Jesus was a pleasant aroma to the Lord. The city of Smyrna was approximately 35 miles NE of Ephesus, and it was a port city as well as a commercial center with a population of around 100,000. It was called the most beautiful of the seven cities, and it is still around

Prayer and Pride

Prayer and Pride I wanted to share something God showed me today while I was sitting outside in my front yard. We have a GREAT prayer team and that is AWESOME!! However, many times I know that I have been tempted when I hear a prayer request to say “WOOHOO I was praying for YOU” but God showed me that I should never EVER do that, but why? God created language, and when he made the word “PRIDE” he knew what he was doing because the letter stuck right in the middle of “PRIDE” is the letter “I”!! Yes the letter “I”!!! We are told in Matthew 6 that when do our good deeds (alms), fast, or pray we are to tell NO ONE and that means that we are to tell NO ONE!! Why? Because God says if we do them in secret then HE will reward us openly. However, if WE tell people about our alms, fasting, or prayers then we will lose our reward because the praise of man will be our only reward. For example, let’s say that Sister Sue tells Bro. Ron that the prayer request she told him about got answe

The Church At Ephesus

To the Church at Ephesus History The name Ephesus means “desirable” or “the desired one”. Ephesus was a bustling town, and with its artificial harbor made it the most accessible city in Asia. In the New Testament times Ephesus had a population of about 250,000, and it was the fourth largest city in the Roman Empire coming in behind only Rome, Alexandria, and Antioch. It was connected to the sea by a huge harbor, and connected to the inner parts of Asia by a network of roads. With its great access, it was a natural magnet that drew political and religious groups from all over the known world. Also, when Christians were brought from Asia to Rome to be killed in the Coliseum by lions they had to go through Ephesus, and this is why Ignatius called the road from Ephesus to Rome the “Highway of the Martyrs". Paul went to Ephesus many times to preach to the Jews and about things of the Kingdom of God. However, Ephesus was known for his huge amount of wizards, sorcerers, witches, as
